I sure do. If you believe in Karma then you always think about what did he or she do wrong to deserve that. "What goes around comes around." You probably heard this before. I am a hard core believer. I also believe in something my mom always says, "Whatever you do, your children will pay for it". Even the bible says 'As you sow, so shall you reep".
So what made me write about this. I was always a little pissed of about China's hostile take over of Tibet. Tibetans always seemed to be calm, quite and minding their own business people. And China took advantage of this harmless country mostly inhabited by monks. I do not know what prompted China to do this but it left thousands of Tibetans homeless. Was that right? I personally do not think so. And I always thought that karma will come back.
On May 12th, 2008 northern China experienced a 7.8 magnitude earthquake killing thousands and rendering 100's of thousands homeless. Not to mention this is the year that China hosts the Olympics. It is really sad to see all those innocent people in pain. I count my blessings everyday that I do not have to go through that. But I can not stop thinking that Karma is playing its role. In real harsh words, China got what they deserved. I know that innocent people are paying the price but then again What you do in life, your children will pay for it. In this case, the governments innocent citizens (children) are paying for.
Can there ever be peace in this world? Is the world coming to an end because sins are rising? I don't know. All I know is treat others the way you would want to be treated. Because Karma is real.
Bottom Line: Whether you believe in karma or not.....it does not give you the right to treat others inferior.
