One of my good friends asked me to write more about the different states in the US that I have visited. Great feedback. I would love to. So let me start with Canada since I visited it recently. I know....I know.....it is not a US state. I don't think it should be either. Anyways, I did not get too far this time but I did learn a few things. Me and some friends of mine went to Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. I heard from a lot of people that the Canadian side was great. That there was a lot of things to do. The casinos are awesome. And so on. What I realized was that nothing is all great. There is always something negative that you have to experience to learn. So if you ever decide to go to to Niagara Falls on the Canadian side, here are a few tips.
It is true there is more stuff to do on the Canadian side than the American. There are more clubs, and attractions like the Ripley's Believe it or Not museum, The Screamers horror show, etc. But if you are just looking to visit the Falls then there is no point in going to the Canadian side. Take the Maid of the Mist boat ride which takes you right upto the falls. The same is done from the Canadian side. So unless you want to spend money for some different attractions, there is no point in going to the Canadian side.
One of the main reasons people go to Canada is for the casinos. That's a butt load of bull. I realized that you have better odds of winning in the American casino, Seneca Falls Casino than the ones in Canada. I just played BlackJack at both the Casinos and noticed that in the Canadian casino, the dealer will take all the cards after every game and instead of stacking it up will place it back into the deck box. And the deck box is not a clear box. You cannot see if the cards are being shuffled or what and you never know how many decks are in there. Also, you have to pay for your own drinks at the Canadian casino and parking is $15. Drinks and parking are free at the American Casino. So I do not really see why would someone want to gamble at the Canadian casino. Although I denounce gambling but if you ever get the munchies to try your luck, go to Seneca Falls Casino in America.
Bottom Line: Everything that glitters is not gold. Before you decide to spend a lot of money do your research.
